Accents
While I was giving a fun speech today in public speaking I realized how badass accents are. I was giving a pretty convincing british accent when I said bloody hell and I caught myself off guard. I thought I was Ron Weasley for a second and I didn't want to stop using my accent. Since I'm adopted I do not know what my real accent is but I do know that at times I can have a real southern draw. Since I hate my draw I goof around with different accents all the time and think they are pretty fun to try to master. Cajun is probably the best accent I can do as my birth family is part french. So guys the way to a girls heart is definetly calling her Mon Cher which my dear. Just the way the word sounds when you use it in the accent is pretty tight. I also like the british accent but don't we all. The funnest accent by far though is australian. I don't know why but everytime I say mate it sounds australian. Those are really the only accents that are fun to me because the others sound kind of stupid. For those of you who know me this may surprise you a little but I have always wanted to be and actor. I don't seem that way but I have always wanted to try it. I don't want to do that broadway musical crap because that stuff creeps me out. It would be a dream though to be in movies specifically opposite of Megan Fox. Well I'm done ranting so I'll catch ya'll later.

Accents are really fun to mess with. I really enjoy hearing exactly what accents people are good at. For example, I really like my British accent but my brother sounds Australian, minus saying "mate" all the time, when he attempts his British accent. Other accents I enjoy are my Boston accent, "The Sawx are wicked awesome!" or "This food is goin in tha gahbage."
ReplyDeleteI also like to do my North Korean Kim Jong Il accent on occasion. It really is just quotes from the movie, Team America: World Police. You basically just substitute any "L" in a word with a "R." Here is a little taste.
I'm So Ronery
So ronery
So ronery and sadry arone
There's no one
Just me onry
Sitting on my rittle throne
I work rearry hard and make up great prans
But nobody ristens, no one understands
Seems like no one takes me serirousry
lol I remember when you were using that accent in speech. It was pretty funny. You guys made me laugh the most, especially with your paper sheep. =p
ReplyDeleteI've never been called Mon cher before, but I can't say I wouldn't like it.
