Redbird Club
So back in June this summer me and my family went to a Gateway Grizzlies game. I don't know why because I'm a Southern Illinois Miners Fan but we went. So at the game they had a raffle and we won two Cardinal tickets. So tonight me and my Dad went to the Cardinal game. I am not a Cardinals fan by any means at all as I love the Yankees but hey free tickets are free tickets. So when we get there we see our tickets are in the redbird club and we ask a worker where thats at and she says its on the 3rd level so I'm like great nose bleed seats. When we get up there we realize that the Redbird Club is actually one of those suite boxes with the caterers and stuff that serve you. The seats were good we were high enough to see the whole game but low enough to read the names on the back of the jersey. The game was pretty much what I expected the Pirates were giving the Cardinals all they could handle because take away Pujols and the pitching duo the talent level is about the same. So my night tonight was watching some major league baseball in amazing 53 degree weather.

I hate September!
I really do not like a thing about September. It is September 20 and it feels like it is still ninety degrees outside. I do not mind hot weather in the summer but when it comes September I am ready for Fall. Nothing happens in September anyways besides football which I went to a school that was too small to have a football team anyways. If deer season started in September in Illinois I would actually like the month. But since it doesn't I get to settle for scouting, setting up trail cams, and clearing shooting lanes around my deer stands. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks September drags on but it seems like this is the longest month out of all of them. September also means the first month that you basically have to start school work which we all hate. The thing about October which makes September so horrible are these reasons for me. It's the beginning of deer season which is my life. The Yankees will be fighting for a world series title like every year which I like. I'm finally getting used to the whole school routine and can kind of expect what's coming. The weather is finally getting nice come about mid-October. Halloween is October 31 which is always fun because it gives you an excuse to give people a heart attack. So all of these reasons are why I have been listening to Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends."

I love Fall!
Summer is gone finally! I'm going to get one last jet ski session before it gets too cold but then it's time for Fall. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Fall. The trees will be changing colors and the weather will be perfect and cool. There's a bonfire every weekend and it's hoodie weather. But the best part about Fall is that it is finally deer season. Now some of you may not like the idea of hunting so I advise you to stop reading now and read another blog. October 1st will be the first day of bow season and then I will have all the way through mid January to kill a massive white tailed deer buck. I will have my hoyt bow tuned in and ready for action because I do not miss. The third weekend of November will mark the shotgun season. I have a new Remington Slug Gun this year with a complete Realtree camo stock and scope that will allow me to see a deer a mile away. I have new Remington slugs also that look kind of futuristic as the actual bullet part is a glowing green. So any deer that I decide to shoot at will be as good as dead. Then with deer season comes good friends, good food, long days, and great experiences. So I will be in a good mood until January because Fall and more importantly deer season is here.

Back To School
After a very fun weekend it's back to the books and back to the papers. I would gladly trade in my schedule for jet skiing and partying with my friends but you can't receive a degree that way. So I just remember that I must deal with these six years of school and learning and then it's off to the real world where there are jobs, families, and if you do good enough in school possibly free time. But as I've noticed over the years and as many more have noticed there are serious distractions. These distractions are entertaining, fun and mess with my school work. So as I check my facebook and watch Boise State vs. Virginia Tech I'm typing this blog. So I will deal with four more days of school then it's off to the weekend and free time again. But this week is really the first week that there will be work to do at school so I will have to endure it. With the weather getting nicer, deer season coming up, and me itching to get outside every second that I'm in class enduring will get harder by the day. But as I learned in high school while the days drag on the years fly by and will have plenty more weekends to have fun.
